Price information
To make the comparison even easier, I created the graph below.
If you want something cheaper, we recommend the "DEATHADDER V2 X HYPERSPEED" and "BASILISK X HYPERSPEED", which are both less than 10,000 yen. The "VIPER MINI SIGNATURE EDITION", which is significantly lighter, has the disadvantage of being quite expensive.
If you are concerned about cost-effectiveness, it is best to choose a product that is under 10,000 yen or in the 10,000 yen range.
About the size
The size is stated as length x width x height.
"BASILISK V3 PRO", "BASILISK X HYPERSPEED", and "DEATHADDER V3 PRO" are larger, while "OROCHI V2" is smaller.
If the size doesn't fit your hand, it can feel very uncomfortable, so if you're unsure, we recommend choosing one that is similar in size to the mouse you currently use, or trying it out in a store.
Weight
The VIPER MINI SIGNATURE EDITION is characterized by many large holes, which makes it significantly lighter. If you want a mouse that is even a little lighter, buy the VIPER MINI SIGNATURE EDITION.
The NAGA V2 PRO is heavier because it has more buttons. It is not suitable for games that require intense operation, such as FPS, but it is suitable for games such as MMOs.
Please refer to the graph below for easier comparison.
About the battery
Battery life varies depending on whether you use RAZER's HyperSpeed Wireless or Bluetooth. Bluetooth connection will provide longer battery life.
Many gaming mice support quick charging, so you can use them for a long time even with a short time. However, if you find it troublesome to plug in a cable to charge, it's a good idea to choose one with a longer battery life.
About buttons
The number of buttons is as shown in the table. For the "NAGA V2 PRO," three patterns are listed because the number of buttons can be changed by changing the side plate with the side buttons attached.
It is said that mice with many buttons are suitable for MMO games. For FPS games, a lighter mouse with fewer buttons is better.
About the Light
There were fewer products that supported the light than I expected, so if you're looking for lighting features typical of gaming products, be careful.
The way it lights up can be changed by linking it with the software provided by RAZER.
lastly
Thank you for reading this article.
I hope this will be helpful for those who are considering purchasing a gaming mouse.
